Pre-Authorized Giving at St. Basil's Church

You can plan your giving to St. Basil's in advance for the whole year and you can continue to support St. Basil's when you are away on holiday by signing up for Pre-Authorized Giving (P.A.G.). For more information on P.A.G., please pick up a leaflet from the rack at the back of the church or from the Parish Office, or click on the link for a copy of the P.A.G. Leaflet.

Private Prayer

We communicate with God through prayer. In our prayers we may ask for God’s help, for God’s forgiveness, for God’s grace. In our prayers we may thank God for many things. We may pray quietly in a special space and time that we have put aside for prayer, or when we are going about our daily business – taking a walk, working, really any time that we find when we can be meditative and quietly talk to God. Some forms of prayer that are mentioned in this section can be private prayer – the rosary, the liturgy of the hours, lectio divina, the Stations of the Cross, saying some of the formal church prayers, such as the Hail Mary, or the Our Father, among others are all ways of praying in private.
